About Calgon Carbon Corporation
The Engineered Solutions Group of Calgon Carbon Corporation provides solutions to customers' air, water and chemical process problems through design, fabrication and operation of systems that utilize a combination of specialty enabling technologies:
- Ion exchange and chromatographic separations
- Ultraviolet light disinfection and oxidation
- Odor control
- Solvent recovery, distillation, and VOC abatement
The division includes 160 professional engineers, scientists, sales and marketing personnel, four global manufacturing sites, and intellectual property assets of more than 50 patents. In addition, the division owns pilot plant facilities and custom chemical manufacturing capabilities utilizing our technology. Annual sales in 2001 were approximately $50 million.
